We had a fun visit with the Kauffman Family up in Vancouver last weekend. The girls had fun with their boys, and we even got a scrabble game in one night. It's not like the pre kid days when we hiked, kayaked, and ate sushi. It's a different kind of fun now - watching our kids play together while we visit and trying to remember what we were talking about after having to stop to comfort, feed, give a time out, wipe... We asked the girls their favorite part of the trip and Adie said it was when she was eating dinner and found a bite of waffle from breakfast on the floor and ate it. I'm glad we didn't attempt to take them out to any fancy dinners if that's all she needs to have a great thecation (that's what A and E call it). One of my favorite parts was when I heard Landon offer his mom money so he could sit by Eliza at dinner
