Ashlynn Rose
She's changing, not growing too quickly (she's still a little peanut) but she's definitely figuring out her place in this family and starting to let us know what she's all about more and more. She's starting to try to say more words on her own rather than just repeating what we tell her. I'm probably the only one that understands her but I think that still counts (wawa for water, yisa for Eliza, chchch for cheese...). She's still a love, gets excited to see people, and LOVES to chase and be chased. Along with all of the fun stuff, she's doing her share of testing. Sometimes if she doesn't get what she wants she tries to throw a fit by letting herself down slowly and kicking and whining, luckily it doesn't get too far when she realizes I've walked away. And there's the night time...I'm sure she'll be sleeping great by the time she's 3, and I can't wait.
She's got that Ernst blood running through her. Have any of you ever seen the double? Front and back at the same time!
Ryan and Jim have been working on a project across the driveway, so she likes to stand at the window and call their names

She copies A and E by spitting after brushing her teeth, it's cute because she is really just blowing
She is loving all of the berries and cherries this summer. I don't even dress her anymore when we're home because of all of the berry juice all over them. It's hard for me to work in the garden with her out there because I can't keep her out of the blueberries (boos) and I want at least a couple for the rest of us.
I think her favorite times are when Adie and Eliza include her in their games. Today they were trying to play a card game and she kept messing it up so I told them to go in their room and shut the door to play. It was sad, Ash stood at their door knocking saying "yisa yisa yisa" (she can say Adie but never does, I'm curious if she knows who is who). I even tried to sit and play with her but she just wanted in with them.
