Black Butte

We got to spend a relaxing weekend in Black Butte. It was great just hanging out and watching the girls play. We walked in the front door when we first got there, Eliza looked around and said "Black Butte is so much fun!" The girls then went right upstairs to the toy room and each found a pink princess dress that they spent most of the weekend in. We played soccer

Ashlynn had fun playing with the babies and the little cars

Eliza walked around with this mirror singing "I look like a princess, I feel like a princess, I am a princess"

They enjoyed all of the new to them books

A and E got to go on the top bunk and they thought that was pretty cool, they always wanted us to move the ladder so Ashlynn wouldn't come up

We swam, the water was heated and even though the weather was great, it wasn't warm to Ryan and I. We stayed as long as we could, they could have lasted longer if we would have let them.

We rode scooters

I didn't have an attachment I needed for the bike trailer, but they liked me pulling them up and down the street

"come on friend, let's go on an adventure"

I realized this trip I can stop stressing about being away from home. I do always like it and want to go places, and it is a lot of work. This trip was the first time we were able to put Adie and Eliza to bed in a new place and they actually went to sleep without us having to stay in the room with them. We could trust them to play upstairs or in the garage/driveway without us having to be with them the whole time. Ashlynn of course can't be trusted doing those things, but there is just one of her which makes it so much easier than I remember trips with them at her age.
