Pacific City

We got to spend a couple of nights at Pacific City with my mom this week, we had a great time despite the cold weather. The girls didn't seem to notice the wind and rain. Luckily we had a cozy little house to go back to for puzzles, cartoons, and lots of snacks

My mom hiked to the top of this dune with Adie and Eliza, I was impressed with all of them. How many Grandmas will do somehting like that for the grandkids - her energy amazes me. I planted myself in the sand about half way up and let Ashlynn fall asleep on me. It was pretty sweet sitting there with her with the view I had. After making their way down I continued to sit with Ash while my mom played in the water with the girls. The good thing about the weather was we had a normally packed beach to ourselves.

Eliza on her first trip down, she made it to the top, came back to me, then all the way back to the top. You can see my mom and Adie in the background making their way up.
