Rainy Days

Our table is always a big mess of colors, scissors, paper, and tape. Adie is singing along to The Little Mermaid soundtrack here.

They spent a few days decorating and then protecting their kitchen. This was before all of their polly pocket dresses were organized on top by color. I made the mistake one day of picking one up and setting it on the kitchen - without realizing there was a system. You can't really see all of the necklaces and tiaras they have taped up on the top...only beautiful stuff according to them

so I spent a fair amount of time distracting Ashlynn so she didn't destroy the decorations

They still get excited to go to Gilbert House even though we've been going for two years

They all love the new vet clinic and get into character when they're playing in there "ok so you call and say Oh No, my cat is sick please help me right away"

Eliza is showing me where my cat has a sliver

Today they were laughing and talking and in the van I can't hear what they are saying back there. When I asked what was so funny one of them said, "Oh, we were just talking about what if we were ALL pink, like pink hair, and pink faces and even pink eyes? Wouldn't that be cool?"

Anyone who knew me as a child might find the humor in this, since it is so opposite of the way I remember being
