Ashlynn is officially six months old! She's a crazy little baby, right now she's into figuring out how to get herself upright. She crawls around looking for something to pull herself up on. She's figured out to go to the kitchen and can get up using the knobs on the drawers. She is so happy. Even in the middle of the night after I've let her cry in her crib for an hour - as soon as Ryan or I would go in she'd quit and give us a big smile and start bouncing around like she wanted to play. Her sleeping was HORRIBLE for about a month. There were a couple of nights where she was up for about 4 hours at a time, not wanting to nurse, just awake. That's why we decided it was time to let her cry. It didn't work very well the first couple of nights when I would go in and pat her or try to nurse her then put her down. So, the last few nights I didn't go in at all. She cries for about 2o minutes once or twice then sleeps until 6:30 or 7:00 and wakes up happy. So hopefully we've got that under control now, and I can start thinking about something other than when I can get a nap in. With the sleeping under control I don't think there's a negative thing to say about this one.
