Ryan's Climb

I love this picture, you can see the shadow of the Mountain they are on over the horizon.

Last weekend Ryan did his first big climb since the girls have been born. Jess, the climb leader gave a pretty cool trip report on his blog, so you can click this if you want to read it. There is a great picture on it of Ryan traversing a ridge - it gives you a good idea of what they had to do on this climb. They did North and Middle Sister in one trip. Ryan has been training but it's been so long he almost didn't think he was going to make Middle after finishing North. But, he did and he loved it. I know from being up there that looking at pictures don't do the views justice. Some of these pictures make my stomach drop just looking at them. It made us excited to get back into it someday, even if it is a few years down the road for me.
