I had left them in the living room on the couch watching a video and when I came back in they were like this
New Trick.
We just had their two year check up and they have finally moved past the 5th percentile for height and weight (their Heuberger heads are holding steady in the 60th percentile)! Both girls have started testing us in different ways - we hope we're dealing with it the right way. People ask us about the terrible two's - I wouldn't say it's been terrible but it has been a little harder at times. The worst day was after I had gotten back from a weekend away in Seattle, then subbed on Monday so Adie really had to test me the following Tuesday. It just took a day of being with her (and several timeouts and time alone in her room) to get her back to normal luckily. The nice thing is when one is acting up it seems like the other one works harder to make us happy.

They are talking so much - the other night when Ryan got home from work Eliza ran up to him "Hi dadda, how have you been?" Another day when I was getting ready to go to work one of them looked at me and said "Oh mamma, you all dressed up?" Funny that they notice when I wear something a little nicer. Their conversations with each other are pretty funny too - they like to show each other what they have made or what they are playing with - "look Adie, look what I made" and Adie will look and say something like "oh that's awesome Ziza" They are in their room fighting right now
Eliza - "I want to wear it for a couple minutes"
Adie - "Nooooo, I have it"
Eliza - "just a couple minutes to hear the beep" I've been setting the timer when they fight so she must be trying to tell Adie that I set the timer, even though I didn't
Now they are fine and running after each other laughing. I think I'll sign off with that.

Two already?? They sure are little cuties. I will say that it only gets better... but I will also say that I think three is much more difficult then two ;)
