minutes just to let them sit there and get them both diapered and dressed again. I called Ryan one day at work afterwards so Eliza could tell him, then later that day when she went, she went and got my phone and brought it to me saying Dada, Dada. Cute - all things I know are just what other little kids are doing but to us it's pretty exciting to see them figuring things out. I wonder if everything will be this exciting with the next one? Here are a few pictures from this week. Karen came over with Jackson and his new little(but big) brother Grady. They loved taking care of Grady - it looked pretty funny because he is 3 months old and has almost caught up with them in the weight category.

One and a half
We just had their 18 month checkup. Most of our questions were on discipline...we had a rough three to four weeks. They were crabby and starting to throw fits so the Dr. was giving us some good ideas and just helping us see they are old enough to understand what they are doing. Then when she was doing their checkups the saw that they both had double ear infections. So the last month must have been a combination of being sick and testing us. Either way the last few days have been so much better. They're still little runts, barely 20 pounds each but I'm over worrying about that. They are starting to eat a little better, but they have enough energy so I know they're getting enough. Both are talking more and more and starting to put 2 or three words together. Eliza has gone to the bathroom on her little toilet several times now. It's quite an ordeal because they both have to be totally naked to sit on the toilet and they like to do it every time I change their diapers now (they get a cookie). I have to be ready for 20
minutes just to let them sit there and get them both diapered and dressed again. "Next one?" What are you saying Melissa!?!?
I'm not saying anything - trust me!
18 months already?!? They are so much fun at this age. And yes it is just as exciting the next time around... you will just be more relaxed ;) Good luck with the potty training!
