Ashlynn in Ashland

Ryan and I left the girls with my parents and got to take Ashlynn down to Ashland for a quick visit a couple weeks ago. The whole time I was thinking about how much fun Adie and Eliza would be having, but thankful I didn't have to think about how and when they were going to nap and what kind of mood they were going to be in when they woke up. I also got to actually have conversations with my sisters. It was fun to just get to focus on Ashlynn for a couple of days too, I just felt bad for her in the back seat all by herself...

This was funny - but only those of us who were there can really appreciate it. Poor Ian was tired after a long day of turkey and then mushroom hunting (Ryan came home with a big bag of morrells which we really enjoyed!).

Gus waited up for us to get there - that was a treat for Ashlynn. She was worked up the last 20 minutes of the drive and calmed right down once she saw her baby whisperer cousin.

Gus signed up for his first year of baseball, Ryan and I both had fun playing catch with him - he's got quite a fast ball.

On the way home we drove through Klamath Falls for a nice visit with my Grandparents. Grandpa even gave us potato chips to put on our sandwiches.

The Pump

I've got a lot of pictures to put on from the last couple of weeks but haven't had the chance to really sit down and do it yet. But for now, I had to put these because I thought it was so funny. I had a little audience when I was pumping yesterday. This morning the girls were using the jump rope handles as their pumps - they were "getting the milk out" Adie: "The pillow feels my boobie better"

Eliza: Apparently needs to watch a little closer next time if she thinks the milk comes from her belly button

This was a fun little walk, Jessie and JoJo loved the swing as much as we do. Whoever wasn't swinging was climbing up the "mountain" and rolling down squealing and giggling.

One month

Here's our little Ashlynn at one month. She still a really good little baby, sleeping most of her days away so it's fun when she's awake for longer stretches.

Easter

Jeanette and her girls are here for about a month so we've been having fun with them. It's fun to see the girls get reacquainted. It's interesting how the language barrier doesn't matter to them. We had a nice Easter at Derald and Melvena's. Adie and Alyssa
