Tractor Ride

Our neighbor's granddaughter Hope is here visiting them so the girls have been having fun getting to know her a little bit. They refer to her as "Hope the Person" since my brother has a cat named Hope. Jim took them for a tractor ride last night that they all thought was fun.

Getting Dirty

The girls have been loving the pile of sand surrounded by mud puddles on the driveway lately. Warming up by the new wood stove - they always need a bath after coming in from the sand pile.

They LOVE their umbrellas so they get excited when they see a little bit of rain outside so they can use them.

Friends

This is how the girls have enjoyed playing with each other lately. Starts with a lot of giggling and running around and usually ends with one of them crying. This was suppose to be the last picture - Adie in timeout. They were having a blast and all of a sudden Adie sat up and smacked Eliza. Eliza is the one who told her to go to timeout. Adie asked her which corner she should stand in, she stood there and whined and did some fake crying until Eliza told her she could come out.

Baby Eva

This is Ben and Katie's little girl Eva, they stayed the night earlier this week. She is a little cutie and we loved having them. It was fun to see the girls pay attention to her and be excited about having a baby around.

Work Day

Ryan's parents came over today to yet again, help out with projects. Today they worked on getting the orchard pruned. Heading out to feed the chickens
I came out long enough to snap a couple pictures - it did look fun to me but I'm getting to the point where if I do too much I pay because it takes me a day to recover - so I stayed inside and kept the fire going...

Adie

Eliza

Eliza was wiped out by lunch time, she was almost asleep here on Sharon

A fun day for the girls, they got to end it with a double "sorsie" ride

this week

Adie reading Clifford to Eliza

Building with the canning supplies - lately Adie needs three piggies in her hair every day. She lets me know which color goes by which ear and which color goes on top. She also always has to wear two different color socks. So now at least people have a way of telling them apart.

Showing me how they sleep in their new bed - this has gone really well. We had been putting it it off because bed time and naps were so nice. But, figured we better make the switch in time to get them sleeping good before their little sister gets here so she can have a crib. Ever since the first night in here they don't make a peep. They have been waking up earlier the last couple of days, it's not as bad though because there's room for me to get in there with them and we can all fall back to sleep. The sweetest thing is when I tell them they can get up they give each other a good morning kiss first. It's a big hug and a kiss - really cute.

getting outside

Today was finally nice enough to get outside, the day goes by so much faster. The girls had fun hiking, going to the swing, feeding the chickens and playing soccer. Makes me really excited for the spring up here.

We also tried out our new triple jogger - luckily the girls thought it was really fun sitting on this top seat. The baby will be able to recline in one of the lower seats. I was worried they wouldn't like the top seat but it looks like they'll have to take turns. Hopefully they'll still like it if I'm running and they are bouncing around - though I think the runs with this might turn out to be more of a brisk walk...
