Our new favorite spot

If we noticed this swing when we first moved here we forgot about it. Yesterday we found it while we were on our walk, it's on our neighbors property in a big oak tree. Yesterday we spent about two hours down there, so today I knew to bring a blanket.

Gilbert House

For the girls birthday both sets of Grandparents got them (us) a year membership to the Children's Museum in Salem. We went today for the second time this week, and Natalie and Livia came with us. We had a really fun morning. The girls were all awesome so it made it really easy. I know we'll use this a ton, the girls love it, we've been twice and haven't made it to all of the exhibits yet.

We started today with some art projects, they made these funny hats with a big turkey leg on them.

Dress up in the jungle room

After the museum we went to Les Schwab and kept them occupied with fruit roll ups and showing them their funny faces they would make for the camera.

Playdate

We enjoyed having some friends over today. Seven kids, Hunter and Kalia are the oldest at 2 1/2. It took them all a while to warm up but by the end they were having a great time together.

Girls are cracking us up the more they are talking. They still love their babies and we love listening to them talk to them. Gus just made them a cradle so they have been putting them to bed a lot. I just heard Eliza "shhh, be quiet Adie ok, baby sleeping, ok - don't be naughty baby" I need to write more down, but when I retell it, it's not that funny. It's just so funny to hear some of the stuff they say coming out of their little mouths. It's starting to be fun to have them help me make cookies (even though I don't really like to make them). Now that the rain is starting I'm realizing I'll have to get a little more creative with them more since we can't just go outside all day. Adie was funny decorating her apple here, whenever I got close to her she put her hand up and waved me away because she thought I was going to take it from her.

Halloween

The girls had fun eating candy on Saturday. Adie seemed to like the costumes and wanted to hand out candy when kids came to the door(at my parents, no trick or treaters out here). Eliza was trying to act tough, she would say she liked them but when kids knocked at the door she would cling to my mom until they were gone.
