Another Runner Girl

Ben and Katie gave Ashlynn her birthday present while we were in Seattle, her very own runner girl outfit! She was pretty proud putting it on, and continued to run circles through the house when Ryan got home to show him how fast she is in it

Seattle Day 1

I wanted to get the girls up to Seattle one more time before the next couple babies are born and these trips by myself get that much harder. We had a great time, Tris was a trooper hosting us at 37 (I think?) weeks pregnant. I wanted to take the girls to the science center when we got there, then started having second thoughts about putting them back in the car so soon after we arrived. But, we did it and I'm so glad we did. I wanted them to see the live butterfly observatory - it was very worth getting them in the car for. All four of the kids had a great time, it was so fun to see them running around excited and smiling while we were there.

out of order, but I like this one. Tristan was in dance growing up so the girls got to dress up in some of her old recital outfits

Notice the butterfly on Adie's head here, it made her trip

I can't believe I got this one, maybe in 10 years we'll look at it and just remember them getting along...

They also loved the tide pool display where they got to touch the sea creatures

Tris gave all three french braids after their bath, Eliza kept hers in until we got home because she wanted her hair to be super curly. She was bouncing off the walls when Ryan saw her and the first thing he mentioned was her curly hair - I'm going to have to learn how to do it

When I asked them their favorite parts of our trip they agreed on the top three: butterflies, donuts, and sleeping in a tent TWO TIMES!

Seattle Day 2

Our second day in Seattle we spent most of the day with Katie and her three girls, we all walked to the donut shop, then all went back to the Symons house for dinner.

Daphne and Vivian have gotten so big and strong since I saw them last. Our girls loved them, I didn't get a picture but Ashlynn even tried to nurse both of them. After finishing one she pointed to the other "I ready that one now" She even accused one of biting her...

we take up a little bit of room when we walk together

deciding which donut to choose

Eva is looking old, and she's hilarious. Her and Ash were doing a workout here. The girls had a lot of fun with her this trip.

Ashlynn's security blanket is my belly, she wants it whenever she's tired, scared, hurt...the evening we were all at the house together was a little crazy, she didn't go far from my belly

our twins holding their twins, I'm sure this will be a picture we repeat often in the coming years

Seattle Day 3

Our third day in Seattle included a walk to a different donut shop, a visit from Lesley, Elliott, and Noah, and a walk to the park before heading home Eliza still has her braids in, she wanted her donut to match her hair

cutie

The girls loved seeing their old buddy Elliott, who moved to Seattle last fall

Ballerina girls

This week

Ash is talking more and more and is pretty funny. Her NO was getting a little too assertive so we have taught her "no thank you" instead. So now we when we tell her to apologize for hitting she says "ah, no sanks" or we tell her to pick up her toys "ah, no sank you"

I found her playing quietly with her toys, with rubber pants on her head

They spent about 20 minutes watching the tree trimmers on our driveway one day
