Ashland

Ila turned FIVE and we had another fun trip down South to celebrate with everyone. The kids played hard, the big kids paused once in a while to play with Ashlynn and she LOVED it - Gus can make her laugh like nobody else. My mom made the cute unicorn cake, our girls had some meltdowns, the sisters went for a fun run and coffee in the morning, Opal and Ashlynn kissed each other- It will be fun next year to look back at these pictures because by then these two will be playing with each other. Ian and Annie kept us well fed with delicious food and let us trash their house, we stopped at the cabin to see my Grandparents and the kids played with Kira and Calvin. Thanks for another fun party Reid family!

Dresses

A woman at church has been telling me about these dresses since the girls were babies. Her aunt crocheted them for her and her sister, then her twin (now adult) daughters wore them. I'm guessing they are over 50 years old.

Friends

We had friends over a couple times last week

I found Elliott and Adie sitting here discussing what it was like to be three and what it will be like when they get really big and turn 4 or 5 years old.

can you believe how cute this little girl is? That night at dinner Eliza thanked God Neli was wearing such a beautiful dress when she came over with sparkly shoes.

Tri

Ben, Mel, Deb, Sherry and I did the McMinnville Sprint Tri last weekend. I had a lot of fun, and I think they did too.

We had a pretty cute support crew!

The Pasture

I had never thought to let the girls play in the pasture now that Delilah no longer lives there. Today while I mowed they ran around down there and loved it. Adie kept saying she couldn't believe how many new flowers she was finding, and Eliza kept saying "It's so beautiful down here"

Ashlynn "smelling" (blowing) the flowers. And, I would have more pictures of her but when I have the camera she usually gets up and walks to me so she can look at the screen and kiss whoever she sees on the screen.

Adie made me laugh when I took these next few pictures. She was walking back from the pasture and saw I had the camera. She wanted me to take a picture of this pose...
Then she asked if I could get closer to her to take it...

Then she wanted me to take more but I told her she had to do something different so she gave me this look...
