More with Jessie and JoJo

I hadn't been taking too many pictures because these girls do the same thing everyday - change between swimsuits and princess clothes and run around pretending all day. Eliza's new attention tactic. Every once in a while she'll be found pouting..."nobody is playing with me and I am NOT GOING TO PLAY WITH THEM!!!" She realizes after a few minutes nobody cares and rejoins the crew.

Nine Months

Ashlynn is nine months today, the big milestone she's hit recently is taking her first steps. Her other new tricks are clapping and pointing - pretty exciting stuff around here! She's also finally started to sleep better, I know better than to assume that the good sleeping is here to stay but I'll enjoy it while I can.

Jessie and JoJo

We're soaking in all of the cousin time we can since Jeanette and family arrived from Guatemala last week. There was no warming up this time, maybe because the girls are older and remember eachother, or maybe because they were here when Ashlynn was born, either way they started playing as soon as they saw eachother.

After a couple of days JoJo really started realizing Adie and Eliza don't understand her. She got a little sad and when Jeanette was trying to get her to speak English JoJo let her know she left her English on the airplane. After I took this picture Willy gave her a pep talk, and she came out happy and asked the other girls to help her find her English. So, they all searched through the house with their flashlights looking for it.

Indoor Park

We met some friends at Indoor Park today. I was pleased that with all of the toys, bikes and slides there the girls spent most of their time working on their dribbling (and no, I wasn't making them!)

Runner Girls

These are their sweet little running outfits the Lacey fam sent them for their birthday. They really didn't want to take them off last night when it was time for bed, so they each folded them up and put them in a special spot so they would see them when they woke up. They both put them on as soon as they were done with their cereal this morning. Thank You Lacey's!! Last night Eliza told me "my new runner girl clothes suuuure make me happy"

Birthday Party #1

The day before Adie and Eliza's birthday my family came over for corn dogs and pink cake. Just like every time these cousins get together - they are all running around wildly with their shirts off and the mom's are just waiting and wondering who is going to melt down first (I think I won with Eliza). We're happy everyone made the drive out to the farm for us again - we love having everyone here.
