Fish Lake

After the reunion we headed to Fish Lake to camp for the night. This is where we always camped with our cousins growing up so it was pretty special that we got to camp here with all of Adie and Eliza's cousins on my side of the family. As always, when we're with family I've got quite a few pictures I want to share. I thought about giving these two their own post but it's late and I want to get to bed. They are SO funny together.

Ashland

After camping Ryan and my dad headed home and my mom and I spent one more night in Ashland. We got to spend some good time with Carrie, went to the park with Ila then went to watch some live music. We didn't last too long at the music because the kiddos were pooped out.

Today I had some old friends over, we all went to high school together, and most of us were in school together starting in Kindergarten. There were 15 kids here among the 6 moms that were here.

Our camera is still out of service so I have to rely on other people's pictures if I want to post anything.

Cherry Picking

A friend of ours with an orchard decided not to sell some of his cherries this year so we got to go pick some the other night. The girls loved it, they would put some in the buckets but you can see they mostly just ate them. Glen also gave them a ride on his four wheeler and they liked that too.

I just like this one because of the pigtails.

enjoying the summer

Adie loves sitting in a patch of poppies and picking the petals off. For some reason in this patch out in our orchard she also likes to take her hat off and lie down - very sweet! I think Eliza had just got water in her eyes in this one, I like the look on her face.

Eliza is hilarious when we let her loose with the chickens. She squeals and laughs and chases them around for the first couple of minutes. Then they start chasing her and that makes her laugh even more. When she gets tired of this she'll usually go join Adie in the poppies.
